“It is not enough to want to make the effort and to say we’ll make the effort. We must actually make the effort. It’s in the doing, not just the thinking, that we accomplish our goals. If we constantly put our goals off, we will never see them fulfilled. Someone put it this way: Live only for tomorrow, and you will have a lot of empty yesterdays today.” –Thomas S. Monson
This quote sums up perfectly what I want to say in my very first post. Whatever our goals are, we have to actually make the effort to achieve them. It is good to write goals down. It is good to get a partner to help us. It is good to repeat positive affirmations. But, If we procrastinate the actual effort, that procrastination may eventually turn into never.
If we want to lose weight, we have to take the steps to do so. We eat right, we exercise, we create new healthy habits. If we want a more toned body, we make the effort. We do spot exercises, we stretch and flex every chance we get, we lift weights. If we want to create a blog about healthy living choices we just do it!
And so my journey on this blog begins. Welcome!

Congrats on making the effort and taking action… many people are excited about goal setting and planning, but wait until their plans are perfectly written before taking action. Instead, make a goal and then immediately take action. by telling someone else about your goal for accountability. Then take an immediate physical action, any action, just put it in motion NOW!
